Nidec Drive Technology Develops New Precision Cycloidal Reducer, KINEX

Nidec Drive Technology Corporation announces their new product development, the Next Generation Nidec KINEX high precision cycloidal reducer, expanding their lineup of precision-control reducers.

KINEX, a highly rigid precision cycloidal reducer composed of inscribed planetary gears, can be installed as a servo motor reducer for any application, such as the joints of mid and large-size multi-joint robots and SCARA robots (Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arms). KINEX utilizes Nidec’s technology to be low-noise and maintenance-free. The KINEX EH Series Type N is a central solid shaft type cycloidal reducer that is lightweight and compact and the KINEX EH Series Type C is a hollow shaft type large size reducer that provides a pass through for cable or hose application solutions.

The combination of KINEX and our current FLEXWAVE product technology, machine designers can enjoy a wide-ranging lineup of high precision gear reducers frequently used in a wide variety of applications such as robot joints, machine tools, semiconductor, and many more.
