NEV Series

Right-angle Planetary Gear Reducer

The NEV Series is a cost-effective right-angle planetary gear reducer designed for servo and stepper motor applications operating primarily in one direction. Utilizing helical planetary gear configuration, the NEV provides reliable motion control in applications where ultra-low backlash is not required.

With 30 arc-minutes backlash, the NEV Series is well suited for conveyors and similar transport systems where positioning accuracy is secondary to efficiency and cost control. It is frequently used when upgrading induction motor-driven systems to servo technology across multiple machine axes.

The lightweight aluminum housing is available with hollow or solid output shaft configurations. Supporting motors from 50 W to 3.5 kW, the NEV delivers nominal output torque ratings from 6 Nm to 90 Nm. Four frame sizes and ratios from 5:1 and 105:1 provide flexibility across industrial and good & beverage applications.
